Ok so the other day I was forced to study for the licensing exam. So a question came up dealing with a situation like this.
So you walk into a patient's room and you see he is masturbating. What do you do?
A.) Tell him to stop because it offends you.
B.) Leave him and alone and give him his privacy.
C.) Pretend nothing happened and proceed with your treatments.
Well the answer is B. Yeah, I'm serious about this. No joke. I only remember this because I walked in on my roommate having sex. Yeah, then while I was in the room they finished up. It was pretty cute I suppose.
So I'm done with the OB rotation. I don't think I want to see another vagina for a long time. Now I'm in the ICU and basically I just take care of people that don't talk or move. Yeah, I like ICU but I get paid like the guy on the low level care floor so why should I work any harder? I'm just glad this is almost all over. What's sad is, it only made me realize I don't like nursing. I think I may like being a dialysis nurse. Ok I gotta get back to my school work.
