Mursing Journal Entry #1

Today I got to be the shift leader. Nothing new but I did absolutely nothing but chat with people or help other nurses. I got to meet a WWII veteran who was distinguished with the Medal of Honor. He single handedly took down 58 Germans. In fact, at one point grenadiers got within 4 yards of him and he mowed them down and toss the nades back. I also got to meet a patient who has a pace maker and an internal defibrillator. This guy asked me to cut the thing out because every time he goes into A-fib it'll shock him. I told him I'll ask the doctors to consider it. But if you guys don't know if it gets removed he'll most likely die so I was just kidding. I also never want to get old because he was telling me how he just wants to die. And I guess who wouldn't hate themselves if you crap on yourself all the time. Speaking of crap, this lady was covered in crap from chest to toe. It was quite a mess. She said, "I don't think a nurse had check on me in a while." Ya you got that right. I couldn't walk by the room without getting a big whiff of shit, I mean crap. Ya so there's my day for ya. Oh one last thing, I think I'm the worst guy to watch movies with medicine involved. Like at the end of Hancock, I was like why are you shocking a flat line rhythm? Ya I know, Jonathon and Eve gave me the same look. Ya don't watch military or medical things with me. I'll take away the fun.
